Watch art, music, and fashion combine at the 3rd annual Billabong Design for Humanity event. On June 17th, at the Avalon/Bardot in Hollywood, this one night event will feature an art and auction show followed by a Billabong bikini show and finishing off with a performance by two live bands. The headlining band yet to be announced will be opened by up and comers Iglu and Hartly.
The cause, Charity: Water, a non profit organization providing safe and clean drinking water to developing nations around the world. Make a difference by participating in this one time event featuring live bands, art, and a fashion runway.

What better way to spend your Memorial Day Weekend then to see all your favorite bands over a three day period. This year’s festival promises to be it’s biggest featuring the likes of Janes Addiction, NIN, Grizzly Bear, The Animal Collective, The Walkmen, TV on the Radio among countless others. Headlining this year is the legendary Phish and the Boss. It’ll be the first time Phish has played at the Bonnaroo and Bruce Springsteen will be performing after his recent Superbowl gig. The lineup includes an eclectic mix including Snoop Dogg, The Ting Tings, Brett Dennen, The Beastie Boys, and Elvis Costello. Check out the lineup after the jump.

Kanye’s tour has made its trek through west coast cities making stops in Seattle, San Jose, Sacramento, San Diego and finally in LA back in April 21. But it isn’t over yet, in May, West’s critically acclaimed tour is scheduled to kick off in Texas, then make a run through the South, playing in such cities like Atlanta and Charlotte. On May 13, the tour heads to Madison Square Garden in New York, then back to his hometown in Chicago on May 23 at the United Center.
The tour boasts a futuristic theme, and a unique experience. Among his popular songs, Kanye perform’s his hit song Stronger, wearing his signature Glow in the dark Shutter Shades. Other performers billed for this tour include hip hop phenom Lupe Fiasco, pop diva Rhianna, and N.E.R.D. Don’t miss out on this adventure, tickets are still on sale.

Foreign Family’s Mr44 and Johnny Punishment of FF Dropout will present a series of personal art next week. The showcase will go hand in hand with a preview of Foreign Family’s 2008 summer collection. Foreign Family’s illustrations have always been held in high regard over here on the shoulders of the complexity of their graphics and their reoccurring fish themes. The event will take place May 10th in Los Angeles.
